Can You Help With A Local Cold-Weather Shelter?
St Laurence Anglican Church will be hosting a shelter program for the homeless during February 2025 and is seeking volunteers. The program provides overnight shelter to up to 25 homeless individuals each day, also offering them a hot evening meal, breakfast, a bag lunch and clothing.
A Volunteer Orientation session will be held Saturday November 30 at 10 am, at St Laurence Church, 825 St Laurence, Coquitlam. For information go to sylviawallisccb@gmail.com or phone 604-763-4486.
Food Drive
The Youth Ministry of All Saints Parish warmly invites you to participate in a special Christmas initiative! We are collecting food donations to create Christmas Food Packages for families in need.
Preferred Food Items:
Canned diced tomatoes
Chunky tomato sauce
Canned fruits
Canned Vegetables (Corn and Mushroom)
Canned Fish and Meat (Tuna and Ham)
Instant Oatmeal and Cereal Variety Packs (Single Serving Packages)
Canned Meals (Beans in Tomato Sauce, Beef Chili, and Stew)
Pasta (900g or smaller)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (1L or smaller)
Please bring your donations to the designated bins in the church foyer by Sunday, November 17th.
