This event is for volunteers and anyone who is interested in learning more about the Prison Ministry in the Archdiocese of Vancouver. There will be a presentation on Trauma Informed Care, with time for reflection and a keynote address by Archbishop Miller.

Catechists' Evening with Archbishop Miller

Come and join the hundreds of catechists in the Archdiocese of Vancouver for this annual event where Archbishop Miller will honour, celebrate, thank, commission and give his annual exhortation to those involved in the catechetical ministry: PREP, RCIA, Liturgy of the Word with Children (LWC), CGS (Catechesis of the Good Shepherd), Vanspec, Youth Ministry (YM), Young Adult Ministry (YAM) and Lay Formation.
Doors open at 6pm. Program includes testimonies, a Mass of Commissioning, recognition of first-time catechists, and reception. Cost is $5.

White Mass for Health Care Workers

The Catholic Physician's Guild is inviting all Catholic and Christian Health Care Workers to join the annual White Mass celebration with Archbishop Miller on November 18 at 5pm at Holy Rosary Cathedral. Mass will be followed by dinner and a discussion in the Rosary Hall beside the Cathedral. Brian Bird, a law professor at UBC, will be joining for a presentation on conscience rights in health care. Join this event for a great evening of connection and fellowship!
