World Day Of The Sick

Saturday | Feb 10th | 11am | Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Vancouver

As the church marks the World Day of the Sick on February 11, the Catholic Health Association of BC encourages everyone to pray for those who suffer from illness and for their caregivers. The theme of this year’s observance is “It is not good that man should be alone—Healing the Sick by Healing Relationships.”

The best therapy for those who are ill, Pope Francis adds, is to offer them our love and communion, despite the pace of our own frenetic lives.

Archbishop Miller, CSB will celebrate Mass for World Day of the Sick on Saturday, February 10 at 11am, at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Vancouver (555 Slocan Street). Reception to follow, all are welcome. Pray with us on this day. To learn more about this day, visit chabc.rcav.org/wds2024
